Thursday I had the assembly for the freshmans. We gave them certificates for being on honor roll. There were about 200 kids there. We played the game that was made up and they had cookies and lemonade. Friday we had a subsitute. Then we went on Thanksgiving break for a week. Then school started again on Monday.
Monday my freshman class was coloring a worksheet that had to do with plate tectonics. I did not have to go to the class because they did not need any help doing that. Then I went to my freshman class on Tuesday and they were doing notes and a worksheet. I was helping this one kid for a while.
The one kid in that class that I have been helping out has been doing a lot better. He has been getting his grade up and he is now up to a high 'D'. If he gets his grade up to a 'C' I have to buy him a gift.

This past week has been a pretty good week. We got a list of freshmans that are not doing well. We are their mentorers and we have to encourage them to do better and get better grades. I went and saw them but I could only talk to one. The girl does not seem like she wants to do better. But, I am going to try to do my best to get her to do her work and get her grades up.

Monday I was putting the shedules on the blue invatations for the freshmans. I also help out passing out passes on Tuesday for guidence. Then i came back to class and started folding green papers together for the rest of the block. Then yesterday I was handing out passes for this class. Then I participates in the game that we are doing for the freshmans.

We have been preparing for the freshmans honor roll day. I will be calling out the names of the freshman so they can come up and get their certificates for getting on honor roll.

This past week has been a good week. I got to help out students during my lunch. When ever they needed help they would raise their hand and then we would have to see what they need help with. I also have been helping out this one kid Adam. He has been doing a lot more of his work.
Then I also helped out Mrs. Williams to hand out passes. This was on Monday and we had to hand out to the people that haven't turned in their emergency cards. Then Tuesday I folded green papers for the end of the block. But, before I did that I went to see my kids I would be mentoring. These kids have a GPA that is between 1 and 2.5. I didn't get to talk to any of them because they were not in school yesterday.

Today is a very rainy day. The past week I just started going to a biology class. The class is not a bad group but, one of the louder classes. They get in trouble a lot for talking but they are smart kids. There is a certain few that ask a lot of questions and ask for help. I've helped them out as much as I could.
The class does vocabulary and book work a lot. They reviewed for a test and then one of the days they took the test. So, that day they did not need me to be there. Monday we helped the class do bookwork and worksheets. Then yesterday they were only taking notes so we got to leave early because they did not need any help.
But, yesterday I talked to the teacher about getting one of the kids grade up to a C. This is because he has a F right now. I told him that if he gets his grade up to at least a C or higher I will buy him something for it. Right now he is close to a D and the other people with me help him out as much as we can to get his grade up. The teacher talked to him about it and thinks it is a very good idea.
This week is the Battle of the BLVD's. It is verse Pine Ridge and Deltona. We have been dressing up this week as a couple things. We had jerey day, college day, Class colors, batter wolf day and school colors. It has been an exciting week.
